Seven Aikido · 七
A dojo where Japanese budo, the discipline of the samurai and the art of harmony are trained together — on the mat, and in the way you carry yourself.

Sensei Elie Beam began aikido twenty-five years ago and has never stepped off the path. Shaped deeply by Japanese culture and the spirit of the samurai, he found in aikido something far larger than technique: an art of peace that transforms the way one meets conflict, on the mat and in daily life.
He began teaching in 2010, traveling each year to international seminars to keep his training honest and open. His belief is simple — “Aikido is not only a martial art, it is a way of life” — and that message of peace is the one he brings to every class at Seven Aikido.
気 · Ki
Aikido was born from the sword arts of the samurai and shaped by Morihei Ueshiba into a practice of protection rather than conquest. Nothing is broken, nothing is forced — the attack is received, joined and returned to stillness.
At Seven Aikido we keep that spirit intact: traditional forms, real etiquette, honest training. The compass in our mark is deliberate — seven directions, one path, chosen freely.
